Installing apps on NordicTrack

Overview

1) Sign up for ifit account
2) Enable privilege mode
3) Enable permanent privilege mode
4) Download other apps
 

Ifit Account

Go to ifit.com to register for a free account.

 

Privilege Mode

Enable privilege mode: Tap 10 times on a blank area, wait for 8-10 seconds, then tap 10 more times. 
There should have a popup to show that the mode is set to true (enabled). Use this link to generate a response code if prompted: https://getresponsecode.com/

 

Enable Permanent Privilege Mode

1) Use browser to Download and install ES File Explorer (search for es file explorer apk and install accordingly)
2) Go to root->sdcard directory
3) Create a new file: .wolfDev

 

Common Apps  

To find APP, search in browser for "app name + apk" search term. Note that not all apps are supported.
 
  • Chrome (for surfing and youtube): chrome apk
  • Netflix: netflix apk
  • Disney+: disney apk
  • Amazon Prime: amazon prime apk
  • Spotify: spotify apk
 

Optional Apps

Youtube

Youtube can be accessed directly using web browser (or chrome).

Troubleshooting

1) System shows a white/blue screen with retry button, unable to load further even after restarting

Remedy a) Get into privilege mode and check if network is connected. Reconnect if necessary. Launch ifit admin and click check for updates to reinstall ifit

Remedy b) Perform hard reset: https://www.nordictrack.com/learn/ifit-help-factory-reset-on-machine/
