Treadmill Preventive Maintenance Checklist:
To increase the lifespan of parts like motor, belt, deck -
- Lubricate belt if applicable
- Inspect and adjust running belt
- Vacuum interior
- Clean hood
- Inspect drive belt
- Inspect rollers
Points not covered under preventive maintenance:
- Electrical issues
- Belt out of shape or tearing (the original belt might be worn thin already and near its end of life, thus change of belt is required if it cannot be further tightened)
- Motor issues
